A new London-style gin is on the scene from picturesque Sonoma County. Individual botanicals are vapor-distilled to extract the most flavor, then the spirit is blended to offer the perfect balance of flavor and texture. A nice hit of juniper is followed by floral and earthy notes with a hint of spearmint on the finish. Stir this with some ice and a tiny dash of dry vermouth for Martini heaven.
Benham’s Sonoma Dry Gin Tasting Notes
Nose: Scent of warm cardamom, baking spices, truffle-like angelica earthiness and floral chamomile notes.
Palate: Full flavors are balanced by sweetness from star anise and creaminess from the orris root.
Finish: The gin dances on the finish, with a touch of cool mint and peppery spice from the galangal and grains of paradise.
