The
Stolpman2023SauvignonBlanc
is a sharply focused, elegant California Sauvignon with refined energy and mineral backbonebright and crisp yet surprisingly textured for the price, making it an outstanding choice for everyday sophistication.
Origins & Craftsmanship
From Stolpman Vineyards in Santa Barbara County, this 2023 vintage is crafted from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown largely on limestone-rich soils in Ballard Canyon and surrounding productive sites. The estate has emphasized low yields and vineyard precision to bring out minerality and clarity of fruit. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel, with partial maturation in large, neutral French oak puncheons (500 L) to add subtle textural depth without overt oak flavour. The result is a vineyard-driven white that balances freshness with substance.
