Sesti ‘Monteleccio’ Toscana IGT, 2023

This wine is made of 100% Sangiovese. The Monteleccio is a fresher, younger, more succulent glass of wine than the structured Rosso, but still seriously good. It expresses the full vibrancy of Sangiovese, making an excellent choice for the dinner table. In the summertime, pair it with grilled strip steaks and a garlic scape butter. In the wintertime, pair it with your favorite sausage and mushroom pizza with some roasted winter squash. The name ‘Monteleccio’ is an Italian version of ‘Montalcino’, originating from Latin, meaning “hill of the holm oaks.”
