Johannes Selbach created this second line of wines with the intention of producing high-quality Riesling at a reasonable price as an introduction to what one can get from great Mosel wine. He sources grapes from leased vineyards that are farmed under his supervision and vinifies them at a separate location from his premium range of Selbach-Oster wines. Incline is a named for the impossibly steep slopes of the Mosel from which these grapes are grown. Made without the use of oak, this Riesling is

and clean with notes of
juicy apple
and
lime
. A
touch of sweetness
on the palate is balanced by
bright acidity
and a slatey
mineral-driven
finish that is characteristic of the region.
