Hand picked in the early morning in October to maintain low temperatures and delay fermentation. After malolactic fermentation the wine is refined in French oak for 8 months with bottle refinement.
Tasting Notes
Deep purple in the glass with aromas and flavors of rich concentrated black fruits, cocoa, cinnamon, toasted tobacco and juniper berries. The palate is full and velvety with hints of smoky grilled meats and crème brulee on the finish. Enjoy with mature cheeses, grilled meats, hearty stews and chocolate.
