Merry Edwards was one of the first female winemakers in California, and in 1996, she was able to buy her own land after 25 years of purchasing others grapes. Her journey at her personal estate began with Pinot Noir, but her favorite grape, Sauvignon Blanc, soon became her passion and her focus. In 2018, Merry passed the winemaking torch to Heidi von der Mehden, a Peace Corps chemistry teacher turned enologist. This vintage is their collaboration from that year a
