Longav’s Glup brand is the result of a collaboration of two winemaking friends on different continents who joined forces in 2012 – Chilean producer Julio Bouchon and South African winemaker David Nieuwoudt.
Longav seeks to showcase the surprising diversity of Chilean wines, known for their freshness and personality. Each Longav wine combines grapes and terroir that express a unique vineyard and is made with varieties that express the full power of the valley. In producing this wine, they two follow no standard recipe, only a desire to respect the origin of the grapes and techniques that can honor it.
