The Purdue for Life Foundation and the alumni-owned Koloa Rum Company are proud to announce the release of our Purdue for Lifebranded rum. Our Kauai Reserve Single Batch Hawaiian Rum is artfully crafted in single-batches, distilled from the finest pure cane sugar, then carefully aged for 6 years in select charred American White Oak Barrels at our distillery in Kalaheo, Kauai. Each barrel yields a limited number of bottles, each of which is carefully inspected and numbered to ensure our Kauai Reserve Rum is of the highest quality, distinctly different and uniquely Hawaiian.

APPEARANCE: Deep amber color with a slight sheen
NOSE: Fragrant sugarcane on the nose, with hints of mellow oak, orange peel, and a hint of nuttiness
TASTING NOTES: The finish is bold and complex yet exceptionally smooth and sophisticated, with a higher viscosity. It is an outstanding sipping rum that pairs well with a great cigar.
