The lure of Provence –the colors, the sights, the sounds, the smells, what’s not to love? Certainly Canadians Jane and Hugh Faulkner couldn’t find an answer to that,
purchasing and beginning restorations of Le Grand Cros in 1989. They were joined in
1999 by son Julian, who continued upgrades, this time focusing on the vineyards and winery. Their aim is to blend science and art, balancing the latest technologies with respect for the natural setting. From this thinking comes a lineup of rosés.
The namesake cuvée of the owner, designed to get straight to the point on taste and value. Reds (Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah) and a pinch of Rolle (that’s French for Vermentino), create a classic Provencal blend.
