Goretti 2021 Montefalco Rosso

This red wine is from a small hilltop town of Montefalco, in Italy’s Umbria region. It is a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Sagrantino (approx 60% / 20% / 20%), resulting in a wine with gregarious aromatics of blackberries, dried black fruits and sweet pie spices. Hins of roasted coffee and tobacco suggest pairing with grilled meats, roast poultry, aged cheeses and even dark chocolate.
