Domaine Sparr Schoenenbourg Riesling Révélation 2017

The establishment of Domaine Sparr marks a pivotal moment, bringing together the rich winemaking heritage of two distinguished Alsatian families. With the Sparr family’s roots deeply embedded in the Alsace region since 1634, Charles, a descendant of the 12th generation, along with Amélie, has been pivotal in pioneering a selection of entirely biodynamic Alsace wines. Their collaborative effort has seen the acquisition and expansion of vineyards inherited from both family legacies. Achieving a long-held dream, they launched their namesake winery in 2013. Initially, their grapes were sold to negociants; however, by 2017, they took the bold step of bottling their wines under their own label, marking a significant milestone in their winemaking journey.
