When we think of Loire Valley, our first inclination is to go to the acclaimed region of Sancerre or nearby Touraine. So when we found this gem from Jean Pascal Aubrons family estate in the western Nantes region of the Loire, we were blown away.Typically an area known for producing world-class Melon de Bourgogne, the grape that produces Muscadet, this wine gives us similar hallmark characteristics – bright minerality and
electric
acidity. Crisp and bright, with notes of
lime zest
and a dry, saline finish. White flowers with a beachy finish give us summertime vibes.
