Corsair Triple Smoke Small Batch American Malt Whiskey is made exclusively from American malted barley. Once Bell sources the barley, he divides it into three fractions and smokes each fraction over a different fuel. While a portion of the barley is smoked over a traditional peat flame, another portion is smoked over a cherry wood flame, and the remainder is smoked over a beechwood flame.
Corsair Triple Smoke Malt Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Barrel notes of cinnamon and a touch of honey, along with notes of dates, figs, jerky and roasted nuts.
Palate: Touches of chocolate and peat.
Finish: Long finish with notes of almonds, pepper and toasted bread.

Corsair Artisan Distillery is a small-batch distilling company with distilleries in Nashville, Tennessee, and Bowling Green, Kentucky. Founded in January 2008, it is owned and operated by distillers Darek Bell and Andrew Webber and marketing specialist Amy Lee Bell.
