Classical Saint-Estèphe under the hands of Champagne Louis Roederer, owners since 1995. De Pez is one of the oldest estates in Saint-Estèphe, and under Roederer stewardship it’s become a reliably excellent bottle of Left Bank claret: Cabernet-led, structured, savory, built to age. 2018 was a benchmark Médoc vintage. A serious Saint-Estèphe at a fraction of the classed-growth ask.
