A deep and complex bouquet of golden orchard fruit and honeycomb, with soft floral and fresh pastry notes bursting from the glass. Medium-bodied, satiny, and layered, with a rich core of fruit, lively acidity, and a delicate, pinpoint mousse.

Why We Love It: Champagne ELEA began in 1991 when David planted his first vines. A few yearslater, his wife, Emmanuelle, joined him to develop vineyards on steep, south-facing clay-limestone slopes overlooking the left bank of the Marne Valley.Planted primarily to Meunier with some Chardonnay, the vineyard grewsteadily until Davids tragic accident in 2014. At that time, neighboringwinemakers stepped in to help Emmanuelle complete the harvest, a gesturethat continues to define the estates spirit. Since 2015, she has managed thevineyard independently. The cuve Les Coquelicots de Cerseuil, named afterthe poppy, a symbol of freedom, rebirth, resilience, and fertility, remains acollaborative wine made with winemaker Cdric Mouss of ChampagneFamille Mouss. Today, as a mother of three daughters (Eva, Lily, and Anala)the estates name, Champagne ELEA, reflects both her personal journey andthe enduring values of resilience, community, and terroir.
