Castle & Key Small Batch Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon distilled and released at the historic Old Taylor Distillery — the first proprietary bourbon from Castle & Key in nearly five decades, crafted in small batches from a mash bill high in corn wit alted barley and rye.
The nose shows inviting caramel, vanilla cream and dried orchard fruit with a hint of tobacco and spice. On the palate, vibrant summer fruit (peach and golden apple) and honeyed nuts mingle with baking spices, citrus zest and toasted oak. The finish is warm and lively, with lingering sweet oak, gentle pepper and a balanced, approachable profile great neat or in classic whiskey cocktails.
