At the middle of the Venn Diagram between nature at its most untamed and the sleek, sophisticated structure of modernity is Bernstein, a Hungarian white that despite its demure appearance, drinks like fancy white Burgundy that’s been to Burning Man three times and knows a thing or two about psychedelics! Made from Hárslevelü, one of the three main grapes in Tokaji, the famous Hungarian sweet wine, this rarely-seen, single-varietal white done completely dry vibes to its own vibrations, wild fermented for 5 days on the skins and aged for 5 months in old Burgundian barrels, bottled without fining, filtration or sulphur. Bruised yellow apple, overripe pineapple, lime curd, blanched almond, bergamot & grapefruit pith with a looong, satisfying finish. Pair with charcoal masks, hot tub nights & hogging the entire couch for yourself.
