Bernard Moreau et Fils Meursault Charmes Dessus 2017 [NET]

From the upper portion of the famous Charmes slope, classified at the Premier Cru level — and now showing the patina of seven years in bottle. The 2017 was Bernard Moreau’s first vintage with these Meursault vines, and the wine has settled beautifully: mature apple, a hint of honey, the gunflint and exotic spice that mark the site, all in lovely balance with its underlying acidity. A rare chance to drink classic Meursault in its mature window rather than a younger vintage.
