Anayón is a boutique, premium wine project nestled in the historic Campo de Cariñena appellation of Aragón, Spain. Drawing on centuries-old vineyards—some over a century old, the winery meticulously selects just the top 40 ha from its 350 ha holdings, hand-harvesting grapes from high-altitude, stony soils to unlock terroir expression.
Notes Pronounced nose of ripe strawberry jam, candy cane, fresh mint/herb notes, as well as sweet toffee/caramel undertones. Velvety and round with a touch of mouthwatering sweetness, well-balanced acidity, and supple, polished tannins. Exhibits a luscious mid-palate and lingering freshness balanced by subtle oak-derived richness.
Versatile with classic pairings: Iberian ham, lamb chops, carpaccio, steak tartare, pâtés, cheeses, soups, and hearty red meats.
Also holds its own as a stand-alone sipper and even complements dark chocolate desserts.
