ALESSANDRO RIVETTO BAROLO RISERVA 2015 750ML

This one needs some time, but will age gracefully for a decade. Smoky, meaty notes waft from the glass. On entry, that Nebbiolo minerality strikes first, with a glistening red fruit note winding back through that meaty, sanguine, smokiness from the nose. The finish tightens up a bit but gives you a window of where this is going, the fine tannin unfurling and showing more subtle rose petal, iron and cherry notes.
