The Aberfeldy Distillery was founded by John Dewar & Sons, Ltd. in 1896, and opened in 1898. The distillery is located on the eastern outskirts of Aberfeldy, on the southern bank of the upper Tay.
Earthy nose, driven by autumn leaves and toasted grains . In the mouth it is light with red apple and stone fruit notes, spicy and warm mid-palate. The finish is long and leaves a pleasant pear bitters sensation.
